Protein is an important nutrient for which people who train intensively show increased demand. Sometimes it's hard to provide the right amount of protein to our bodies during the day. Easter is coming, so it's worth considering how to prepare a tasty and healthy treat, perfect for athletes. Below is a recipe for protein cheesecakes. You can make one large cheesecake or several small cupcakes. They are perfect for the Easter table, but also as a dessert with coffee every day, and even as a first or second breakfast.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
CAKE:
- 80g of butter
- 80 g spelled flour
- 20g xylitol
- 15g cocoa
CHEESECAKE MASS:
- 500g cheesecake curd
- 300g natural skyr
- 100g xylitol
- 1 cream or vanilla pudding
- 1 egg
- 150g cherries, raspberries or other fruit (can be frozen)
A METHOD OF PREPARING
- Knead cold butter with flour, xylitol and cocoa.
- Mix the curd, skyr, xylitol and pudding together.
- Add the egg and mix again to combine the ingredients.
- We put the dough on the bottom of the molds.
- Pour some of the cheesecake mass, arrange the fruit and pour the mass.
- Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes - if they are small molds, or 35-40 minutes if they are larger. The top of the cheesecakes should be slightly browned.
